Project 01 Santa Rosa CA
I recently completed a monumental project in Santa Rosa that pushed the boundaries of structural engineering. The massive deck I built stands an impressive 35 feet above the ground, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. This ambitious undertaking required an immense amount of precision and expertise to ensure the deck's stability and safety. Every detail, from the materials used to the reinforcement techniques employed, was meticulously planned to withstand the forces at such a height. Project 02 Fremont CA
In Fremont, I completed constructing a custom home on an upslope lot nestled into the back of a picturesque hillside. The unique topography of the site presented an exciting challenge that inspired the design of the house. One of the standout features of this home is the elegantly crafted curved staircase that serves as the centerpiece, seamlessly blending functionality with aesthetic appeal. The staircase not only provides a graceful transition between different levels of the house but also adds a touch of architectural sophistication to the overall design. The cascading steps create a sense of movement and flow, leading the eye upwards towards the ethereal natural light filtering in through strategically placed windows. This custom-built home stands as a testament to innovative design within the natural landscape of Fremont.
Project 03 Berkeley CA
Working on a project several years ago in the Berkeley Hills for an Architect/Developer I've collaborated with on numerous endeavors was both challenging and rewarding. The task was to construct three custom homes on a site that presented unique obstacles. Situated at the top of a steep and narrow driveway, the houses overlooked a breathtaking clearing in the hills. The logistics of navigating the difficult terrain made the construction process extremely challenging. However, overcoming these obstacles and witnessing the completion of three beautiful custom homes in such a picturesque setting made all the hard work truly worth it.

Growing up as the third generation of carpenters in my family has been a deeply enriching experience that has shaped my career and passion for the craft. From as early as I can remember, I found myself on job sites, observing my grandfather and father skillfully bring custom homes to life. The dedication and precision they put into their work left a lasting impression on me, sparking a desire to follow in their footsteps.
For the past decade, I have honed my carpentry skills working full-time under my father's guidance, managing projects across the diverse landscapes of the Bay Area. Learning from his wealth of experience and expertise, I diligently took on the responsibilities of a licensed contractor, ensuring that every project met the highest standards. When my father decided to retire, I embraced the opportunity to continue the legacy that he and his father had established. It is a responsibility I carry with pride, knowing that the knowledge and craftsmanship passed down through generations will be preserved and passed on to future descendants, maintaining our family's tradition in the world of carpentry.
